Myself and my family and friends (about 15 of us) visited Smitty’s and every single person LOVED EVERYTHING we had! Brisket was so tender and juicy, collards were seasoned to perfection and cooked just right! The beef ribs are only sold on Saturdays and they were so good we ordered to go plates! We had the hot honey lemon pepper wings AND WOW what a BURST of flavor! The Mac and cheese was moist and cheesy! My kids loved the sweet potatoes crunch as well! My friend is still ranting over the cobbler! Smitty’s is definitely a must go to! Not to mention his staff were amazing and so accommodating! Best BBQ IN the UPSTATE for sure!

The brisket sandwich is awesome. The service is excellent. The background music is amazing. The mac and cheese is disappointing, so I don't recommend. The collard greens are very good.

We had a road trip planned around eating here. It was very much worth the drive. Food was amazing. Staff was extremely friendly. They are about 2 hours from me and I'd gladly make that drive again. The brisket was phenomenal

Smitty’s is crazy good. Something here for everybody. Prices weren’t low, but were very reasonable. One person could eat a very filling lunch for under 20. Service was good. Servers were attentive but didn’t go overboard, they let you sit and enjoy your food, which I appreciated. The atmosphere is exactly what you want from a barbecue place: blues music on the speakers, plastic tablecloths, pictures of what I assume is the family of the owner on the walls, and you order and pay at the counter. The brisket sandwich was awesome, good quality meat and spiced up perfectly. Jalapeno cheddar cornbread was different than I expected but was a super good pairing for the brisket. Mac and cheese was good. All the sides are complementary for the meat. The side that stole the show was the sweet potato crunch. That’s the best sweet potato crunch I’ve ever had!! This is how SC does barbecue. If you’re in the area, you’ve gotta swing by Smitty’s.

Came in on a Friday night around 6:30. You order at the counter. We were able to get a table right away. There was only one other table being used by a party of 6. Service was fast and friendly. They sweet tea was yummy. The ribs were very good. Nice smoke ring and fall off the bone. My wife said they were the best she had ever had. even better than my ribs, lol. The brisket was pretty good, too. It was just kinda luke warm and hard/dried out on the ends. It also had a good smoke ring with a killer bark. The Mac and Cheese was good that, too, was kinda dried out. The whole family agreed the French fries were the best side, made fresh and hot. The sweet potato casserole was made with love. I wasn't a fan of the soul roll . It was overcooked and dried out as if it was sitting under a heat light/lamp for hours. Maybe if it was fresh and cooked to order, it would have been better. The price for the food is very reasonable, especially for the quality of it. Right portions for the right price. I would recommend giving them a try.

The food was really good. Nice flavor, green beans were just right for me. Okra was good a little too salty but it balanced out. Smoke chicken was really good. Cook good. Chicken itself is not seasoned. But the seasoning that was put on the chicken was just right. Overall a great place. I uber eats this order. So I don’t know what the restaurant was like. It was great for me having food outside of the truck stop. Hopefully next time i get the same experience.

Definitely one of the best BBQ places I've had! The soul rolls are absolutely amazing! I will say I haven't tried a lot off the menu, but that's only because I can't stay away from the soul rolls! All the sides I've tried have been delicious and my husband loves the wings! It's our go to spot for sure!

Absolutely amazing! Everything was seasoned to perfection and bursting with flavor. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, and you could taste the love in every bite. From the sides to the smoked meats, everything was on point. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
